International students are a vital part of campus life at the University of North Alabama. International Student Services (ISS) is dedicated to supporting these students from the moment they arrive, offering guidance on everything from immigration paperwork to understanding university resources. ISS is here to ensure students feel supported and connected throughout their time at UNA.

Arriving Students

Pre-arrival support (I-20/DS-2019 issuance, visa tips, travel preparations, airport pick-up).

Arrival and orientation programs to help students settle in and adjust to campus life.

Immigration advising and document processing (F-1 and J-1 visa holders, I-20/DS-2019 updates, driver's license documents).
Current Students

The Navigators
The Navigators are student ambassadors for international students. These UNA student leaders assist with International Student Orientation and cultural events.
